ABOUT ME

Chef
Ashley Schütz

the one who stirs the pot

A Californian at heart with an insatiable craving to feed community with foods that comfort, support and heal.

After completing Culinary School in Santa Barbara, CA, I spent the next several years on the road — traveling as a private chef and offering to work with creatives along the way. I cultivated traits of artisans and storytellers, chefs and poets, and have continued on a path to educate others on the connections between cuisine and culture.

With 20 years of experience as a professional chef, a published author and a certified yoga teacher, I present a vast background and life practice in holistic foods and ancient healing modalities.

Currently I am offering unique and nourishing food plans that are delivered to those who are journeying through life’s fragile transitions — such as postpartum, grief, heartbreak, recovery and healing. I also cook for small events, private dinner parties, and teach cooking courses in the Zurich area. Throughout the year, I am available to travel as a private chef for events, holiday stays and retreats. In 2023 my female-centric cookbook A Table Set for Sisterhood was published in North America.
